Monthly Meetings at the Mason
At the Mason, we have a series of meetings that take place monthly for the purpose of ensuring we, as Mason staff, are working together in collaborate with Mason families and community members to reach the goals outlined in our vision statement:
“The Mason School is a united community dedicated to providing equitable and rigorous learning experiences that ensure mastery of core academic skills and build the tools necessary to foster critical thinkers, risk takers, and powerful leaders.”
These monthly meetings are open to all members of the Mason community and we encourage you to attend. These meetings include:
Governing Board Meeting (School Site Council) - first Tuesday of every month from 2:45pm to 4:15pm (zoom link: https://k12-bostonpublicschools.zoom.us/j/87598930442 )
School Parent Council - second Wednesday of every month from 6pm to 7pm (Zoom link:
Equity Roundtable - second Tuesday of every month from 5pm to 6:30pm (Zoom link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84856607337?pwd=dlpiN2h0NHJWQThZMndUK3lzelVuQT09)
School-Wide Town Hall - first Tuesday of every month from 9am to 9:20am (this will be played for all students by the classroom teacher from 9am to 9:20am on the first Tuesday of each month. The recording can also be viewed on our ClassDojo after the event)

Remote & Hybrid Learning
As students are learning under the fully remote or hybrid instructional model, we want to make sure you are provided with information that may provide your scholar with opportunities to continue their learning beyond the Mason school day.
Base is a program located right down the street from the Mason. They specialize in teaching students baseball skills as well as ways to build resilience and perseverance through the love and game of the sport. The Base offers tutoring and other supportive programs
